Calculator inputs and storage

You do not need an account or an email address to use a calculator. The current calculator code does not intentionally submit input fields or calculated balances to a site server, advertising event or analytics event. Some tools remember their settings in browser local storage; others reset when you leave the page. Storage behavior can differ by tool. Clear this website's local storage in browser settings to remove remembered values. On a shared device, clear saved values when finished.

Do not enter account numbers, tax identifiers, passwords or other identifying information into a calculator. We cannot promise that browser extensions, device software or third-party services never observe data, and we do not describe all usage data as anonymous. If you contact us by email, information in your message is transmitted through email providers rather than staying in your browser.

Optional Google Analytics

Site analytics is off by default. You can choose to allow it using “Optional analytics settings” near the footer. If allowed, Google Analytics 4 receives page usage and technical information such as device/browser information and network identifiers, and may use cookies. Our page-view configuration strips query strings and fragments from the page address, reduces the referrer to its origin, and disables Google signals and advertising personalization signals. We do not include calculator values in the analytics configuration.

This reduces information sent by our configuration; it is not a claim that Google receives no IP address or that every report is incapable of identifying a visit. Google controls processing within its service. See Google's Privacy Policy. You can keep analytics off, withdraw the site's analytics permission with the same control, and clear existing cookies in browser settings. A withdrawn choice stops future tracking by this site's configuration; it does not erase information already held by Google.

Microsoft Clarity session replay is not loaded by the current site template. Historical usage of that service is not a claim that no past data was collected. We do not use a session replay recording as evidence that financial values were never transmitted.

Google advertising and regional consent

We use Google AdSense code and intend to support this website with advertising. Code presence does not establish that this site is approved or that an advertisement is shown. Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies, local storage, web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers to deliver, measure and protect advertising. Where permitted and consented, advertising may be based on visits to this or other websites.

We have a published Google European regulations message assigned to this domain. For eligible users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google's certified consent management message provides consent, refusal and option controls. The “Advertising privacy choices” footer button opens Google's consent revocation flow when available. The message may not be available in every region or on every page; the control reports unavailability instead of pretending to change your choices. The site's optional analytics choice is separate and is not itself a certified advertising CMP.

You can also manage personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center and participating vendors through YourAdChoices. These controls do not necessarily remove all advertising or all storage used for security and delivery. Google's explanation of how it uses information from partner sites describes its processing.

Hosting, external resources and links

Cloudflare provides hosting and delivery. Requests can expose IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs, browser information and security signals to the hosting provider. We do not claim no server logs exist. Google Fonts provides the current web font and receives technical request information when a font is loaded. External links take you to other websites with their own privacy policies. An email link opens your email application; no contact form or uploaded financial record is required here.

Storage and retention

Local storage remains until cleared or replaced. Provider retention and cookie lifetimes depend on the service and settings; we do not present a single fixed duration as true for every cookie or log.

Children, sensitive data and location

This retirement-planning website is not directed at children under 13. The calculator code does not request device geolocation. We do not create site remarketing audiences from calculator balances, benefit inputs, medical information, religious beliefs or other sensitive fields. Advertising vendor practices and consent options are described in Google's message and vendor policies; this statement is not a claim that no vendor processes location-related data.

For information held by a third-party provider, its own access or deletion process may be necessary. Changes to this policy will update the date above; that date is not a guarantee that every external provider's settings have been audited.
